Ingrid B. was born on 13th September 1973 in Paris, but she grew up on the shores of the Mediterranean under the sun of Camargue. Self-taught, she has painted and drawn since her earliest childhood. Her painting is spontaneous, bright, in all forms and colours. She likes varied compositions with glimmering chromatic effects. She covers various themes such as the Sea, Woman, Africa, Cabaret as well as Flamenco, inspired by the warm atmosphere of the great Ferias of the south. She gives free rein to her inspiration and offers a provocative yet naïve interpretation, a very feminine style sprinkled with a dash of humour. For the past few years, INGRID.B’s studio is in the town of Aigues Mortes where her paintings perfectly reflect her passion and happiness at seeing her work already recognised. |
