Sophie Wozniak is a globe-trotter in the true sense of the word. Earlier in life she clocked up 12,500 hours of long-haul flights, visiting the four corners of the world.

Now her wanderlust is assuaged in her paintings.

Nothing comes more natural to her than rummaging through the hotchpotch of experiences gained through her countless travels and putting these down on canvas.Her work is reminiscent of those travel posters that carry you away from it all for an instant.The travel theme is omnipresent. Everything blooms from that.Her technique is a happy blend of collage and acrylic painting; a montage of papers, images, photos, town plans, country maps, all mixed with paint in a swarm of ideas.Her use of bright colours brings vitality and joy to her canvases.
